2016 - Week 10
With 5 gigs passed, the band have been spending the new year working on their new album. There have been bass sessions, lots of vocals, guitars, guest trumpets, pre-production on all new tracks and this weekend sees the recording of the 2nd 'featuring' track with professional pianist / keyboard player Jim Berry. Jim has toured and played with some legends of the music industry and is coming to NUMB HQ to play his part for a new song on the album. Other guest appearances are also in the pipeline for the new NUMB record and details of whom will be released nearer the time!
With a great start to 2016 the band are booking up dates for the calendar with performances at Hazy Days Festival in Weston-Super-Mare, Party in the Park in Luton and also Croyde View Festival in Cornwall. There's also a few weddings this year and lots more venues going up on the TOUR page as they come in. The next live show for NUMB is at The Bowling Green in Exeter on Saturday 2nd April, and shortly after some of the band are snatching a well earned break in the South of Spain, where they will be reviewing the recorded tracks from the album and deciding on the playing order of the album, the next single to release and when they drop the album!
There's a guest performance coming up at the beginning of May featuring 'Irie' saxophonist Ray Beavis (www.raybeavis.com), a two date Cornwall appearance at Whiskers in Newquay and The Unicorn in Porthtowan, and July kicks off with a live performance on Balcony TV.
